Review: Lights by TENA Encourages us Ladies to Say ‘C’est la Vie!’ To Oooops Moments™
Oops moments. I've had a few of those over the years, whether it's accidentally going out with a top inside out or experiencing a little leak during a gym session.
After having three children, my bladder isn’t what it used to be. Bladder weakness is such a common condition, and I've experienced a few oops moments over the years. I often get caught out in a sneezing and coughing fit, or if I have a moment where I am laughing hysterically, I know I must cross my legs.
Oops, moments can happen during pregnancy and childbirth, but a lack of targeted exercise can also weaken the pelvic floor. Simple things like sneezing or laughing can cause those ops moments.
Over the years, I've learnt to be prepared for those ops moments, whether that means wearing pads when doing my exercises or trying to get into a routine of remembering to do those very important pelvic floor exercises. But, along the way, I feel the most important thing I've learnt is, ops, moments are nothing to be ashamed of, it is more common than you think, and it doesn't matter!
