Winter Crafting with #bostikbloggers

image.jpg

Our November surprise box of arts and crafts from Bostik was tons of fun.  We were supplied with some Bostik glue, gluedots and lots of different bits and bobs. Jacob, Summer and I put our creative heads on and made a few things, from a snowman, to a wintery mobile.

Materials to make your witch hat:

  • Wreath Ring Frame
  • Lollipop sticks (to make a star)
  • Decorative fabric
  • Tracing paper (for the snow flakes)
  • Glitter cardboard papper (for the Christmas tree)
  • Felt paper
  • Polystyrene shapes (stars)
  • Pom pom ball (for the little snowman)
  • Snowflake foam stickers.
  • Scissors
  • Bostik glue
  • Bostik foam pads

Instructions:

We started off with the wreath ring frame and  using the bits and bobs we received, we proceeded to make all our hanging parts for our mobile.

First Jacob and I made our little snowman - using the pompom we tied some lace like fabric around the pompom at 3/4 the way making a scarf, defining the head and body part. We then cut tiny bits fabric and used this for his buttons - we used two stick on eyes we had at home, and our snowman was complete.

Using the tracing paper, we had tons of fun folding it, to then cut out tiny shapes before opening it into a snow flake (beautiful).  With the lolly sticks we made our Christmas star and with the star foam shapes we used some glitter paint to make it sparkle.  Finally, we had a snowflake glittery sticker and we used that to add to our mobile.

All put together, the finished effect was a fun, wintery mobile.

As well as the wintery mobile we made, Jacob, with the foam snowman shape, decorated his snowman,

this is the snowman Jacob made, with some green tissue paper for his scarf and some small blue pompoms for his buttons, stuck to the snowman foam shaped cut-out.

And, finally we had completed our wintery mobile.
