Finding a toy that genuinely keeps a child's attention can sometimes feel impossible. Some toys are played with for five minutes before they're forgotten, while others quickly become firm favourites.

When Summer was younger, she absolutely loved dolls, especially those that were interactive. So when she was given the opportunity to review Teenie Tiny Toes dolls, she couldn't wait to open them and start playing.

She had already spotted them online before they arrived, so the excitement was real!

What Are Teenie Tiny Toes Dolls?

Teenie Tiny Toes are adorable interactive dolls that measure just 11cm tall, making them the perfect size for little hands.

Their compact size also makes them incredibly portable. Summer loved popping hers into her handbag before heading out to visit family or friends, so they often came along on little adventures.

Despite being so small, they're packed with personality.

Which Teenie Tiny Toes Dolls Did We Receive?

Summer was sent two different dolls to try:

Giggling Gabi – dressed in an adorable panda outfit (this quickly became her favourite!)
Ticklish Tess – wearing a cute pink bunny outfit

Straight away, she was drawn to Giggling Gabi because she absolutely loved the panda costume.

What Can Teenie Tiny Toes Dolls Do?

These aren't just ordinary dolls.

Each one has several interactive sensors hidden throughout its body, including the feet, tummy, back, mouth, head and eyes.

Depending on how children play with them, the dolls respond in different ways by moving, making sounds and reacting to touch.

Some of the interactive features include:

Laughing and giggling
Closing their eyes when rocked to sleep
Moving their arms and legs
Responding to tickles
Funny noises including burps and farts (which had Summer in fits of laughter!)

It was these silly reactions that kept her coming back to play with them. As most parents know, anything involving burps and fart noises is usually guaranteed to be a hit!

Our Thoughts

One of the things I liked most was that the dolls encouraged imaginative play.

Rather than simply pressing a button over and over, Summer enjoyed pretending to care for them by rocking them to sleep, cuddling them and discovering all the different reactions.

Because they're lightweight and easy to carry around, they became one of those toys that travelled everywhere with us.

At the time of reviewing, they were definitely one of Summer's most-played-with toys.
