Disney Vampirina Bootiful Dress
Vampirina Bootiful Dress Review
Summer loves dressing up and making up stories, especially when they can become a character from one of their favourite television programmes.
At the time of this review, Disney Junior’s Vampirina had become a firm favourite. When I was invited to review the Vampirina Bootiful Dress, Summer was excited to try it.
They already had the Vampirina microphone and Spookylele, so the dress was a lovely addition to the toys they enjoyed playing with.
Dressing Up as Vampirina
The dress looked like the one Vampirina wore in the programme, giving Summer a way to dress as the character while playing with their musical toys.
I enjoyed seeing those different pieces come together. With the microphone, Spookylele and outfit, Summer could take on the role of Vampirina and put on their own performance.
The Dress and Accessories
The Bootiful Dress featured soft, velvety fabric with web detailing designed to glow in the dark.
It came with a headband featuring Vampirina’s signature bat wings and a pair of fingerless gloves. I liked that the accessories were included, bringing the character’s look together without needing to find extra pieces.
The bat wing headband was a particularly recognisable part of the outfit, while the gloves fitted nicely with the musical theme of Summer’s play.
Bringing Their Favourite Character Into Play
For Summer, the dress added another way to enjoy a programme they already loved. They could wear the outfit, pick up their Spookylele and use their microphone to play at being Vampirina.
I love watching them take something familiar from television and make it part of their own imaginative play. The costume gave them another piece to work into the stories and performances they enjoyed creating.
My Overall Thoughts
The Vampirina Bootiful Dress was a lovely addition to Summer’s collection. I liked the soft fabric, the web detailing and the included accessories, but its biggest appeal was how well it fitted with their existing interest in Vampirina.
With their microphone, Spookylele and dress together, Summer could dress up and rock out as their favourite little vampire.
I was invited to review the Vampirina Bootiful Dress. These are my own thoughts, based on my experience of sharing it with Summer.
Singin Vampirina songs.
Playing her Vampirina Spookylele wearing her Vampirina dress is so much more fun!
She insists on wearing her gloves this way round.
