BKLYN Bobble Hat Review – Luxury Merino Wool Winter Style

There’s nothing quite like a cosy bobble hat when the colder weather arrives, and if it can keep you warm while looking stylish too, even better!

I’ve been trying out a BKLYN luxury bobble hat, and over the past month it has become the perfect accessory for those chilly days when we’re heading out for our weekly walks with the dogs.

Whether we're walking through the woods or braving the wind along the coast, I've certainly appreciated having something warm and cosy to pull on.

Luxury Merino Wool Bobble Hat

Inspired by the bright lights and fast pace of New York City, BKLYN takes its name from the NYC borough of Brooklyn.

The brand specialises in luxury hats and accessories for adults and children, with its knitted hats made using Italian merino wool.

There were several colours to choose from, but I instantly fell in love with Burnt Orange. It's such a gorgeous, rich and warm shade and is perfect for adding a splash of colour to a winter outfit.

That Fabulous Oversized Bobble!

One of my favourite things about the BKLYN hat has to be its wonderfully oversized bobble.

At approximately 19cm, it's certainly not a bobble that goes unnoticed! It's incredibly soft to touch and gives the hat a fun yet luxurious finish.

Even better, the bobble is detachable.

It's attached to the hat using a metal popper, so you can remove it or mix and match your hat with different bobbles to change up the look.

I really like this idea as it gives you the option to create different colour combinations without needing a completely new hat.

Cosy, Chunky and Stylish

The chunky ribbed knit and deep cuff give the hat a relaxed, slightly slouchy look that I really love.

It's cosy enough for wrapping up on a cold walk but stylish enough to wear as part of an everyday winter outfit.

Team it with your favourite winter coat and it's perfect for everything from the school run and walking the dog to a chilly day out.

Most importantly, it does exactly what I want from a winter hat – it keeps my head lovely and warm!

Beautifully Presented

Another lovely touch is the presentation.

Each BKLYN hat comes in its own gift box, helping to keep it protected and making it feel that little bit more special when it arrives.

It also means it would make a lovely gift for someone who enjoys their winter accessories or appreciates something a little more luxurious.

What I Thought

I've really enjoyed wearing my BKLYN bobble hat.

The Burnt Orange colour is gorgeous, the merino wool feels wonderfully cosy and I absolutely love that huge, fluffy bobble. Being able to detach and swap the bobble is a clever little feature too.

It's a statement winter accessory, but a practical one as well – exactly what I need when we're heading out for one of our cold and windy dog walks.

Warm, cosy and effortlessly stylish, it's a hat I'll be reaching for whenever the temperature drops.
