Ambrosia My Mini Rice Pots & My Mini Custard Pots Review
Introduction
Founded in 1917, Ambrosia has become one of the UK's most beloved dessert brands. Best known for its creamy custard and rice pudding, the company offers a wide range of products in cans, cartons, and convenient snack pots. Whether for home, school lunches, work, or days out, Ambrosia's desserts have remained a family favourite for generations.
Our Experience
I have fond memories of Ambrosia from when I was younger. My dad and brother were huge fans of custard, although I always preferred rice pudding, and that hasn't changed much over the years!
Ambrosia has introduced a handy range of mini snack pots that make a convenient treat for children. For this review, we tried both the My Mini Rice Pots and My Mini Custard Pots.
Each pack contains six individual pots with easy peel-off lids, making them the perfect size for little hands. Both Jacob and Summer enjoyed them, although the custard pots were definitely the most popular choice in our house. That worked out perfectly for me, as it meant I could enjoy more of the rice pots myself!

As you would expect from Ambrosia, both varieties were wonderfully creamy and comforting. The portion size is ideal for a small snack, dessert, or packed lunch addition without being too filling.
The individual pots are particularly useful for busy families. There's no preparation required, making them an easy grab-and-go option for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or a quick dessert after dinner.
Verdict
The Ambrosia My Mini Rice Pots and My Mini Custard Pots are a great choice for parents looking for a convenient and tasty snack option. The portions are just right for children, the creamy flavour lives up to the Ambrosia name, and the long shelf life makes them practical to keep in the cupboard.
At £1.49 per pack, they offer good value and can be found in most major supermarkets. If your little ones enjoy rice pudding or custard, these mini pots are definitely worth adding to your shopping list.
