Olverum Bath Oil Review – A Luxurious Aromatic Bath Treat
I am definitely a bath person. Given the choice between a quick shower and a long soak in the bath, the bath wins every time!
For me, there's something lovely about switching off at the end of the day, running a warm bath and adding a luxurious bath oil or cream. So, Olverum Bath Oil sounded like exactly my kind of product.
And from the moment I added it to the water, the gorgeous aroma made this feel like much more than my usual bath.
Olverum Bath Oil
Olverum is a concentrated aromatic bath oil made using a blend of essential oils.
What immediately stood out to me was the fragrance. As soon as I poured the oil into the running water, the aroma filled the bathroom and helped create that lovely spa-like atmosphere I enjoy when having a long soak.
The fragrance is distinctive, aromatic and wonderfully luxurious.
A Blend of Essential Oils
Olverum Bath Oil contains a blend of essential oils, including lavender, pine, rosemary, verbena and eucalyptus.
Together, they create a fresh, botanical scent that I found perfect for unwinding at the end of a busy day.
Lavender is one of my favourite scents to have around when I'm trying to create a calm and cosy atmosphere, while the eucalyptus and pine give the fragrance a fresher edge.
It's a combination that makes an ordinary evening bath feel much more indulgent.
A Little Goes a Long Way
One of the things that surprised me most about Olverum was just how little you need.
I used around half a capful in a running bath, which was plenty to fragrance the water and bathroom.
Because it's so concentrated, you don't need to pour large amounts into each bath. A 125ml bottle was designed to provide approximately 25 baths, making that relatively small bottle last much longer than you might initially expect.
How Did My Skin Feel?
As someone who loves bath products but also has naturally dry skin, how my skin feels afterwards is always important to me.
I found bathing with Olverum really enjoyable. The oil gave the water a silky feel and my skin felt comfortable after my soak.
I also liked that it didn't require huge amounts of product to make the bath feel special.
Of course, essential oils and fragranced bath products won't suit everyone's skin, particularly if you're sensitive to certain ingredients, so it's always worth checking the ingredients before using a new product.
Creating a Little At-Home Spa Experience
For me, Olverum is the sort of bath product I'd reach for when I want to make a little more of my evening bath.
Run the water, add a small amount of bath oil and give yourself some uninterrupted time to enjoy it – preferably with a good book and the bathroom door firmly closed!
The beautiful botanical aroma really helps transform the atmosphere of the bathroom and makes a regular bath feel that little bit more luxurious.
What I Thought
Olverum Bath Oil was a real treat to use.
I loved the aromatic blend of lavender, eucalyptus, pine, rosemary and verbena, and I was impressed by how such a small amount could fragrance an entire bath.
It's luxurious, beautifully scented and perfect for those evenings when I want to turn my usual bath into something a little more indulgent.
As someone who will choose a bath over a shower any day of the week, this was always going to be a product I enjoyed!
