Enjoying More Water
When it comes to drinking water, I have two kids that love it and two that don't. And, with two out three parents saying they do not know how much water their children should be drinking each day, I know I am not the only parent out there trying to make this positive health change. It is small changes, like encouraging children to drink water regularly, can have a big impact on their health and lives.

Rise To The Challenge
Fenetic Wellbeing specialises in providing quality affordable mobility and home aid products for the elderly. And, they contacted me to see if I wanted to take part in their #risetothechallenge campaign. The challenge involves me refreshing an elderly relative's living room as a surprise - As my father is 76-year-old, he was my natural choice, and this was a perfect way for me to treat him and to say 'thank you'.
Top Dog Apparel Wish List
My gorgeous beagle, Poppy, is finally over her 'teenage' years, which means we've made it past her naughty phase (although she still has her moments) and the chewing and destroying is finally getting better - unless she finds one of Jacob's stray NERF bullet, then she can't seem to help herself.
Life Lately
Life lately has been an amalgamation of GCSE's exams, work, visits to A&E, business travel, building work, weekly family walks and illnesses - and rubbish weather.
Wicked Uncle
It's that time of the year for me, where it starts to get busy with birthdays. Nephews, nieces and friends kids - quite a few over the next couple of months. I never know what to buy. I always try to get them something they will like, something I know they will play and have fun with. And, sometimes I cop out and give them cash in a card, but I try to avoid that where possible as it's always nice to put some thought into the gift buying.
Schleich Educational Toys
We received a selection of the Schleich Range for review, which included animals from the Schleich wildlife range: Elephant, Donkey, Tiger and a Sheep. Jacob's favourite is the Tiger whilst Summer loves the Donkey.
The Ultimate Camping Guide 2016 with Halfords
Growing up, I had many camping memories.
We went camping a lot, all over the UK and Europe, we camped in the Black Forest of Germany, in Switzerland and a few times in France. I loved it!
I have many camping memories and family stories that have been created due my parents love of caravanning and camping, and due to all their hard work (I am the oldest of 5). It all began for us when my brother started up BMXing as a hobby, and I started shortly after.
Meccano Ducati
My kids love building and constructing toys, whether it is with Lego, gluing scale models or cardboard boxes. Constructing and making toys is super fun. It's good to get the kids working with their hands, using their brain, and their concentration, along with a bit of their imagination. Thus, when we were sent the new Meccano Ducati build and play, we were super excited to give it a go. This is our first time with a Meccano toy and we weren't disappointed.

The Kids Father's Day Gift Guide
I don’t know about you but I find my hubby extremely difficult to buy for.
I am at a loss when it comes to buying my hubby a gift, whether it be for Christmas, birthday or fathers day. Each year I get hubby the same, his favourite brandy, a Toblerone, or some slippers - but it's getting a little boring and repetitive, each year buying the same things. so this year for Father's Day I am going to let my kids make all the choices. So I asked Jacob and Summer a couple of questions:
Karma Cola
Unlike other fizzy drinks, Karma Cola is a delicious craft cola made with real cola nut and the best organic and Fairtrade ingredients. Its original recipe combines cola nut from the Boma village in Sierra Leone with vanilla bean from the Forest Garden Growers Association in Sri Lanka and Fairtrade organic cane sugar from the Suminter Organic Farmers Cooperative in Bhimanagar India.
ChiChi-World - All Things Crafty Arts and Crafts Subscription box
I love doing crafts with Summer and Jacob and I believe that doing crafts with kids is a great way to spend time with children while helping them develop important skills. The best part is, they thoroughly enjoy it and it gets them away from screens.

With the half term here, and May Bank Holiday coming up, we have lots of activities organized to keep the kids occupied and entertained, from woodland and beach walks, visits the park, arts-and-crafts and some family fun board games - our newest one, Don't Rock The Boat from University Games.
Review: Marvel Captain America: Civil War Blaster Reveal Shield
Jacob is a massive NERF Gun fan, he saves his pocket money to buy all the latest ones, and with, well over 30 different NERF toys of all shapes and sizes he has a pretty awesome collection! He is also a massive Marvel fan, Hawkeye and Captian America being his two favourite characters, so when we were offered to review the Civil War Blaster Reveal Shield he was super excited. Although I should note that this is not a NERF gun, however, it is designed to shoot the NERF bullets.
