Disney's A Whole New World - A Twisted Tale

I was super excited to review this book. It's a new take on the famous story, Aladdin; it's a twisted fairytale and with this book you get just that!

This dark and daring version of Aladdin twists the original story with the question: What if Jafar was the first one to summon the Genie?

I was super excited to review this book. It's a new take on the famous story, Aladdin; it's a twisted fairytale and with this book you get just that!

The first part of the book is pretty much the same as the movie, but then comes the twist and everything changes.

Jafar taking the power like he wanted, becoming sultan and the most powerful sorcerer in the world, and turned really evil. He kills people, including popular characters from the movie. Jasmine is taken captive, unable to do anything. Aladdin, on the other hand, is stuck inside the cave and has to figure out how to get out and he has to find a way to undo what Jafar did. Genie stays true to who he was in the movies.

A Street Rat becomes a leader. A princess becomes a revolutionary.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the new take on the story. This book is a wonderful addition to any bookcase and I'm looking forward to book 2 when it is released.
