National Stationery Week #writingmatters
It's National Stationery Week. 7-days to celebrate all things stationery.
Notebooks, pens, rubbers, pencils, pencil sharpeners, Post-it notes and fountain pens, highlighters in all colours, markers, envelopes all shapes, sizes and colours, writing paper – I own and love them all. But I want more... I can never get enough stationery items.
Stationery is exciting, it gives happiness. It's a way to express ourselves, to get more organized. To be creative.
A brand new pen, notebook, etc. gives me joy. The untouched and cleanness of a fresh notebook allows endless opportunities; I can write lists (I love lists), letters, write memories and thoughts (I do this a lot), my children scribble in my notebooks and they leave me notes.
When I have client meetings and I have to travel, the best part is going out to buy new stationery - an excuse to purchase a new notebook, a new pen and maybe I'll spoil myself and get another pencil case. It was the best part of school/college days - near the end of half term, I would take your pocket money down to the high-street, visit the stationery shops and splash my cash. I loved to return to school with spanking new pens etc.
If you are a stationery lover like me - then what better way to celebrate by joining in this National Stationery Week.
