FREE #TENNISFORKIDS WITH THE LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION
Jacob has wanted to start Tennis for a while now. When we go to Center Parcs, we watch people play it, he also watches it on TV with me and enjoys it as much as I do. I used to play Tennis a lot when I was a kid, I know what a great sport it is to get involved in. If you want to get involved you can. There are clubs all around the UK which are encouraging and geting kids involved with tennis. The Lawn Tennis Association’s #TennisForKids sessions take place from 22 April 2017 and anyone can sign up their 5- to 8-year-old for free sessions via the ClubSpark website. There are 20,000 free places available across the country.
I've signed Jacob up and he starts in May on a 6-week programme at a school near us. Jacob is extremely excited and is counting down the days. He's telling everyone he is going to learn to play tennis.
Sign ups for the Lawn Tennis Association's (LTA) FREE tennis sessions have now opened on the #TennisForKids Page, so be quick to register. It’s very simple to register, you just enter your town/postcode to check availability for the introductory course. When you find a suitable option, you click through and book.
And, this year they are also offering a free tennis racket, which is a lovely incentive and great opportunity to give Tennis a try!
Qualified coaches will teach children over the six-week course, so it’s a great way to increase their confidence with the sport.
