Happy 7th Birthday Jacob

Last week was my youngest son 7th Birthday. How time has flown.... it only seems like yesterday when I found out I was pregnant. My 3rd child, my 3rd boy. He came into our world, a bundle of joy.

The youngest of 3 boys, and the cheekiest, the loudest, and tough as nails (all that play fighting with your brothers).

You have a zest for life, an expert at annoying and winding your big brothers up. Even better at bossing your younger sister around.

The past year has been a busy one for you. Your swimming has come along amazingly, you swim the pool twice now and really enjoy your lessons. You've lost a few baby teeth, but you big teeth didn't hang around and they came through right away.  You've done really well at school, you love learning, especially maths and numbers.

At home you love cleaning, you pick up a cloth, and clean the windows (at least try too), clean the cupboards, clean, clean, clean (I wish your older two brothers were so enthusiastic about cleaning as you were).  You've always been very hands on, anything you can do to help you want to help.  With the extension that was built this year, you were in your element helping the builders on small jobs, you asked a million questions and learned loads (they said you can definitely come work with them when you old enough).

One sad thing, you now ask me not to call you 'Sweetheart' anymore. It's not all bad though, as you still let me kiss and cuddle you - not sure how long that will last, especially when I drop you off at school, so I cherish every kiss and cuddle, knowing soon you may start complaining.

You love it when we go on our weekend walks, taking the dogs, discovering the outdoors (you love spotting different coloured mushrooms). You run around, collecting sticks and stones, and whatever else you can find. You pick me flowers (weeds) and give them to me so proudly and tell me you love me all the time.

I love you very much, with all my heart and more and I thank the lucky stars every day that you are a part of my life.
