Afternoon Tea with Santa

Last week we were invited to Wyevale Garden Centre in Bressingham for afternoon tea with Santa.

This was our first visit to see Santa this year, and it's safe to say the kids were rather excited.  We booked our table at 3pm, and we joined another family to an hour and half of festive fun and tasty food.

When we arrived Santa's helper welcomed us and showed us to our table, where she gave the kids colouring pens and crayons. Throughout the visit, she stayed with us, chatted to the kids, brought us our food and drink; she was great fun and added to the whole experience.

The kids started off with some arts and crafts. They made a Christmas Card (which both Summer and Jacob made for Santa) and had fun completing the actitivity sheets.  We were given juices and coffee whilst we waited for our lunch.

We opted for a hot lunch (kids cold lunch option is available) for the kids, whilst hubby and I had a lovely tray of sandwiches, scones and delicious cakes.

The kids both ate nuggets and chips.

Hubby and I enjoyed a cake stand full of yummy goodies - the kids helped us finish the cakes.

After we had finished eating, Santa's helper brought out some cookies for the kids to decorate, with lots of yummy trimmings.

Next, it started to get exciting!  Santa's helper brought the magical bell out which Summer rang, and we all joined in and shouted as loud as we could "Santa".

And, Santa made an entrance.....

Santa then invited each child up to sit with him where he asked lots of questions and talked to them. He was a really nice Santa and the kids loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, it was a lovely experience, so much so we are thinking of returning for the Dinner with Santa option very soon (they also do breakfast with Santa).

The child's tea each is £9.99 and the adult's afternoon tea £7.99 each. Overall, it is great value for money, we had a good sized lunch, drinks, arts and crafts activities, as well as cookie decorating and a present from Santa.

Thank you to Wyevale Garden Center for inviting us along.

We loved having tea with Santa, it was so much fun and got us in the Christmas spirit. We will be looking for some more Christmas spirit next Christmas, thus, I've promised to take the kids to Lapland UK, take a look a Big Family Organised Chaos review to see how good it looks.
