Month in review: March

Quick March facts: March is one of seven months that are 31 days long. The 20th or 21st mark beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the beginning of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere, where September is the seasonal equivalent of the Northern Hemisphere's March.

Its birthstone are aquamarine and bloodstone, and these stones symbolize courage. The zodiac signs for the month of March are Pisces (until March 20) and Aries (March 21 onwards). The Daffodil is the floral emblem of March.

So what's been happening for us in March:

Unfortunately I was poorly with a very painful trapped nerve during the end part of March, so I really didn't (couldn't) do much. With all the medication I was on I became very poorly. Through this painful period I had acupuncture for the first time ever, and I have to say I have been twice now with a third appointment booked, and it really works for me. I was super nervous because of the pins they stick in you, and I have a phobia for needles, but they really didn't hurt, and it was very relaxing. With all the medication over the 3 weeks I did not experience any improvements with my back, neck and arm, however after the session with Dr Ting with acupuncture and a massage, I could instantly feel some relief. It is a slow recovery, but each day it feels a little bit better.

Sadly my youngest brother split from his long term girlfriend... very sad time indeed, we will miss her very much. They are both still very young, 21, so they both have their whole life ahead of them, but they had been together since they were at school, a long time.
Apart from that, everything else was good.

We received confirmation for Lewis's chosen high school, the same high school Liam goes to. Lewis will be starting this September eekkk my little boy is growing up too fast, and that also means I have two son's in high school (how old do I feel?).

Our new TV finally arrived; this is the replacement lounge TV for which Summer smashed. We are super pleased with it, it's a Smart TV, and the boys are really impressed, as they can watch YouTube on it, especially Stampy Minecraft videos - sigh.

During March we went on our first ever blogger PR event in London to the Persil cook with kids, the boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and we had a nice day overall.

Liam finished his football season, so no more Sunday football matches for a while. He finished 3rd in his league which he was happy with. No promotion to the next league, but the team doesn't feel they are ready for promotion yet, so overall they are pleased to stay where they are.

I done my first ever blog sponsored blog post! Yay.

Spring finally came, and we got out in the garden and Paul cut the grass.. the kids have been getting outside loads, and as soon as Liam comes home from school, they all go out together and play on the trampoline, or they set up the goal and play footie all together.

The kids had their first water fight of the year, they had loads of fun, and each got very wet - I Love watching them play with each other.
