Rectangular enclosures are an excellent choice if you want a luxurious shower experience.

4. Square Shower Enclosure

It is a type of shower cubicle with equal lengths on all four sides. Such enclosures are an excellent option to fit against the wall and are usually suitable for medium to large bathrooms. An emerging trend in shower design is the walk-in shower . These are level with the floor and don’t have a door, making them appear more spacious and open. A walk-in shower area can be placed anywhere in your home, with simple glass panels enclosing the space. This makes them a suitable choice for the elderly or anyone with limited mobility. You can simply walk into the shower area without needing to open a door or take steps. In other words, it is a large, open space with walls made of glass or metal.

Walk-in showers are usually riced highly in comparison to other types due to the complexity of the design. Quadrant, square, and rectangular designs are usually more affordable; Frame materials are also an important factor that affects the cost. Semi-frameless or those with high-quality materials usually have higher costs. The type of shower door (pivot, bifold, and sliding) that comes with an enclosure or is sometimes ordered separately also influences the overall costs.
