This is our first experience with not only Hatchimals, but Hatchimals CollEGGitbles, and I didn't realise how excited Summer would be upon seeing them - she was super excited. I didn't even realise she was aware what they were, but she was and she knew exactly what to do (thanks to the YouTube vid's she's been watching).

Since she has opened them, they haven't left her side! She's placed them in to one of her bags and carried them around with her constantly.  

What are Hatchimals CollEGGitbles?

They are extremely cute mini Hatchimals, that first come in a speckled egg, you rub the heart on the egg until it changes colour, and squeeze it for it to crack open, revealing a very cute Hatchimal. 

You receive a collectors list so you can identify the name of your Hatchimal, and you can also see what others you need to collect - there are over 100 to collect. And, if you find the mysterious Golden Hatchimal aka the Golden Lynx, you call the customer service helpline to claim a prize!

Hatchimals CollEGGitbles are unique and I definitely see why Summer has fallen in love with them.  Not only do you have the fun element of hatching the egg, you get the excitement of finding your Hatchimal inside, and then playing with it - and of course, collecting them and building your little Hatchimal family up.
