Get On With It - The Ronseal Challenge

The past 12-months we've had a lot of work done on the house; an extension, garage renovations and redecoration. Our garden unfortunately has been neglected, it's been and looked like a 'builders yard'. So the past couple of months we've slowly been tidying up the garden and putting some life back into it.  That included painting the decking, doing a ton of skip runs, and much more. And, our fence was in desperate need of a refresh, so when Ronseal invited me to their Get On With It challenge, it was perfect timing.  To help us paint our fence, they kindly sent us the Precision Power Sprayer and a tub of One Coat Sprayable Fence Life, in Harvest Gold.

Hubby was busy painting indoors, thus, armed with my new Ronseal Precision Power Sprayer I embarked on painting the fence panels myself.

I put some old clothing on, it was slightly windy (we live on the coast, there's always a slight wind) thus, I knew it was probably going to be a messy experience.  As I was spraying the fence panels, I was failing at dodging between the small gusts of wind, thus, I got sprayed with paint too. But, that was a small price to pay, considering how quick I got the fence painted and how easy it was.  In no time at all, my run down fence was refreshed and looking much nicer. I am one happy bunny.

The Precision Power Sprayer is very easy and quick to set up - included are the required 4D batteries. There are three settings giving different speeds. I did watch a couple of YouTube videos before I started using it myself. The first panel took a little longer as I got used to using it, but after the first one the others were done a lot quicker. After I had finished with the sprayer I did use a sponge to smooth a few drips out, but overall, to do the 5 fence panels it took my just under an hour to do. 

I am very impressed with the sprayer, and also the Ronseal paint - the cover of the paint is sufficient and it only took one coat - the finished effect looks great.
