Freshpet Gourmet Pet Food

IMG_1084.JPG

The first time I heard of FreshPets is when hubby came home from Tesco's and told me about a new fridge they had installed in the pet aisle and that it had a new pet food. It told me that I should take a look at it when I next pop in.

FreshPet isn't new, they have been around for 10+ years, and big in the US. Tesco's is the first UK retailer to offer the complete range. Freshpet pet food is all-natural, never processed, and made with fresh ingredients. They were kind enough to send me a bag full of their food for review, and my cats were happy to be the reviewers.

My cats fell in love with the food, I haven't seen them that excited for food in a long time. Both are 20 years old this year, they are mature cats, and sadly since I received the pack to review my Ceefur passed over the pet rainbow bridge (she had been poorly for a few months prior). She is greatly missed. We've continued and fully transferred Jewel over to feeding her Freshpet, she loves it. It's a little more expensive than the boxes of Whiskers we previously fed them, but she enjoys eating it so much so, I can't help but want to give her the best.

Freshpet is also available for dogs and is available in a bag with tiny nuggets, or in a roll.  For cats, there are 3 different flavours available, and for dogs 6 flavours.  You have to store it in the fridge at home, and it keeps fresh.
