Dinosaurs In The Wild Review
Dinosaurs In The Wild Review
We visited Dinosaurs In The Wild at the Greenwich Peninsula.
The first part of the tour you are given an introduction and safety check. You then board on to the time machine, where you are taken back in time! The blinds go up and you find yourselves "back in time" with dinosaurs outside grazing - as we took a bumpy ride to the base, we got to see different types of dinosaurs.
Once arrived at the base we walked to another room. It was the start of the control centre and laboratories, which you are taken room-by-room. The guides/actors in each scene/room, gave lots of stories and facts, which enhanced the experience and was atmospheric; seeing the baby dino was incredibly exciting, handling dinosaur poo was great fun and viewing the autopsy was inspired.
We finally found ourselves 'up' the viewing platform of the base to see some dinosaurs. It was a vast room, with large windows where you could watch the dinosaurs, well, being dinosaurs. Then.. a group of T-rex's came to close to the windows and suddenly tried to break the glass. Panic! The actors rushed us out to safety and back to 2018.
The actors were excellent! they stayed in character throughout, and made the journey traveling back in time very exciting especially at the end when you have to make an emergency escape -they help you get into the spirit of the experience - all in all very realistic and was a little scary for the kids - but my two still totally loved it!
The experience itself feels very real as if you were touring a proper facility.
