Okido: A children's magazine

Okido is an arts and science magazine for children between the ages 3-7, which is published every two months. The magazine is printed with biodegradable vegetable inks on pages of 100% post consumer waste recycled paper or FSC paper (paper from responsible sources).

Features:
  • Non-gender specific - So no pink or fluffy and no overzealous battles
  • Full of educational content
  • Made with the highest quality design, and with a unique feel and graphics.
  • Ecologically produced
  • Made by parents
  • No adverts - Yay, finally a magazine not drowned in ads.
This is an organic magazine made by parents for the parents and their children. A magazine that I have enjoyed reading with Jacob, and that Jacob has enjoyed thoroughly. He absorb the stories, got involved with the activities, especially the colouring-in and the games. With the paper being made out of non glossy paper, it makes it much easier for Jacob to draw/colour on.

No free plastic novelties, but isn't that refreshing? A magazine focused on interactive and fun learning, with a design and illustrations that are guaranteed to capture children's attention.

Available to buy in most major high street news agents for £4 or a year's subscription costs £24
