Ambrosia My Mini Rice Pots & My Mini Custard Pots
Introduction: Ambrosia was founded in 1917, and has become one of Britain's best known and loved brands (especially for all those custard lovers out there). You can find a large range of Ambrosia rice pudding and custard products in stores across the UK, available in cans, cartons or pots, in both standard and low-fat varieties. Ideal for home, on the move, at school or work!
Experience: I remember Ambrosia custard in tins when I was little, my brother and dad were a big custard lovers, unfortunately I was not so keen on custard, I much preferred rice pudding, still do. Now Ambrosia offer a great new range of mini snack packs, which are a great alternative convenience snack for the kids to eat.
For this review we were sent two packs: My mini rice pots & my mini custard pots. Each come in a pack of 6 small pots with peel off lids which are the perfect size for little hands. Both Jacob and Summer liked them, the custard being the most popular in the house. (perfect as I could pinch the rice puddings)
Features:
No preservatives
No artificial colours
Calcium and vitamin D for strong bones
6 pots in each pack
They have a long life - so perfect for stocking up in the cupboard
Conclusion: They are just the right size for a little snack at lunch or after dinner, and perfect for packed lunches. The taste is what you expect from Ambrosia, which is lovely and creamy, and the kids enjoyed eating them very much, and as a parent I enjoyed having the convenience of a healthy snack for the kids.
They cost £1.49 per pack and are available in most supermarkets.
Summer using the wrong end of the spoon - she insists on using the other end.
Jacob had taken a pot before I had time to take a photo.
