Review: Belo & Me lunch bag

Harvey photo bombing my picture.
I was sent the cutest lunch bag to review from the lovely people at Belo & Me.   Belo (Portuguese) translated into English means Beautiful, which is very fitting for these little bags.

The bags from the Belo & Me brand are all made from jute fibre which is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable, so they are environmentally friendly.

What is Jute? It is a soft plant fibre which is produced in India and Bangladesh and a great alternative to using plastic or paper bags. We all know that plastic bags are not biodegradable and they are bad for the environment, and the manufacturing of paper bags requires large quantities of wood, meaning less trees on our planet.

I was sent the Little Lunch bag bird design in red which costs an amazing £3.90 and delivery starts at just £1.50 - or free if you spend over £30.  The size of the bag is 20cm x 20cm x 15cm.

There is a huge array of designs and colours available on the Belo & Me website, and if you like something sparkly they also have some Swarovski design bags. Prices start from just £1.99.

Advantages:

  • Strong and hard wearing. - they will carry a good weight, bottles and cans.
  • Reusable and biodegradable
  • Sturdy handles.
  • Laminated interior so they can be wiped clean.
  • Print on both sides of the bag.

They can be used for multipurpose reasons and not just as a lunch bag! I have already used mine to carry Summer's baby bottles and nappies,  the bag clips and hangs perfectly onto the buggy.

What I like (love) about the Belo & Me lunch bag is how spacious it is for a small bag, and how unique they are. These would not only be a great gift to give someone, but also great to be used as a gift bag.
