Review: I Promise
What an excellent idea I Promise is.
It's a different concept and a nice alternative to the traditional methods of flowers/chocolates etc, giving someone a gift using the value of words, rather than giving someone an object. Not only for valentine, but for any occasion, or for no reason at all, accept to show your love and/or appreciation to someone.
The I Promise website platform is very simple, user-friendly and easy to navigate.
First you pick between two colours, Red or Navy Blue for your envelope. You also have the three available options:
3 Promises: £9.50+ Postage & Packaging
5 Promises: £14.50+ Postage & Packaging
10 Promises: £18.50+ Postage & Packaging
Then there are two promises design to start you off with - either a pre-made option, or make your own design.
Pre-made option
- The website has added the most popular promises and made them into collections/groups for you to personalise and choose from. You can preview the promises by clicking on the pictures. T
ype who it is for > Type who it is from > - as you do this, it types it out on a sample, so you can see what it will actually look like when it arrives. > You can then change the icon, with a huge array of different icons to pick from > finally you pick the pre-made promises message to go onto each card.
Make your design
- Type who it is for > Type who is is from > You can then pick your icon > Then you type your promise (there is a 'Ideas' button if you get stuck for help) > it then moves you on to the second card, and so on. You can also preview a sample of what your promises will look like
Once you have written all your promises, you check out and pay.
I Promises are made with the finest up-cycled card and produced using wind electricity. They are excellent quality and very well presented. They look and feel very special.
