These are warm, fun and enchanting about a lovely friendship between a little girl and her toy.

I love books and can't believe I haven't come across this series before because they are fantastic books - books that we read again and again. The Blue Kangaroo series is about Lily's and Blue Kangaroo friendship from award-winning, renowned illustrator, Emma Chichester Clark. 

We were sent three books from the series to review:

Where Are You, Blue Kangaroo?: She loves her Blue Kangaroo, but like most children, she loses her beloved toy often, but luck for Lily each time she loses him, he is returned by a kind person - lucky Lily.

Happy Birthday, Blue Kangaroo!: It's a double birthday celebration. Like Summer, Lily loves everything pink, but what about Blue for Blue Kangaroo, will his favourite colour be left out.

When I First Met You, Blue Kangaroo!: This story is all about the new baby brother, Lily wants to help with her new baby brother but keeps getting it wrong. Thus, her Grandma gives her a new toy to practice being gentle with - Blue Kangaroo!

Each of these books offer a great story and lovely colourful illustrated pictures that compliment the words as you read to your little one. The Blue Kangaroo stories capture Summer's attention and she loves interacting by asking lots of questions about Lily and/or Blue Kangaroo.
