Kidtropolis
We went to Kidtrololis last week and had an amazing time. We did loads of fun stuff and left feeling happy.
Kidtropolis was a 4-hour slot, we went to the morning slot.
At first I worried that 4-hours wasn't enough and the first half we rushed around fitting as much in as we could, but half we through we started to realise, actually 4-hours is probably enough for us, however, I still feel if it was an all day event, then we could have relaxed more and enjoyed the whole experience a little bit better.
It was smaller than expecting, but I think that was because it wasn't spread out. But, there was plenty to see and do. The queues weren't as bad as they looked, only for the My Little Pony, which was 2.5 hours long - but all the others we queued were 10/20 minutes, the golf was the longest at 35 minutes.
There was a main stage where they had something going on at all times, including the Guinness World Record guys who were attempting to break a few records.
We got to meet, experience and try loads of new toy brands:
There were some amazing Balloon Sculptures around the event. We were lucky to meet the guy who made them, and he very kindly made Summer a balloon hat with hair clip attached, so she could wear it. And, he made Jacob a really cool green allien which Jacob loved.
There was lots to do, and Jacob took the Boot Camp bouncy castle assault course. He ran, jump and swung his way through.
The kids got to meet some of their favourite characters and have some photos with them.
The kids really wanted to go on the mini train. He slowly went up the laid down track and back down again.
We got to try out and play with lots of new toy brands.
Another inflatable helta skelta slide. Summer went on the trampolines.
The longest queue (35 minutes) was for the crazy golf. Kids love crazy golf.
Jacob's favourite part of the day was meeting and getting a signed photo of Ethan Gaming TV. He was pretty chuffed about that.
