This month's Degustabox was bursting full of treats and goodies - even one for the hubby, you can see the pictures below with all the items that were included, and these are items we get to experience and try as a family. The first picture is how the box arrived - when I first opened it, and the second picture is the handy leaflet that is always enclosed, which lists and explains each item individually, as well as recipes ideas.
Inside the box is always a leaflet with details of each product included, and also some recipe ideas you can use with some of the included products.
I've heard a lot about Mornflake cereals but never tried this brand before, and in the box were two instant muesli and granola breakfast pots - I do buy the porridge instant pots from another brand as I love the convenience, so these I am keen to give a try. Then there were the two Miso soup packets, instant soup - who doesn't like soup!
Now my husband was pleased to see the bottle of Crabbies (he loves the ginger beer flavour) and he enjoyed this after he had chilled it - it was the Raspberry flavour. Then there were the Keogh's crisps - I never heard of these before, but I do prefer hand cooked crisps over conventional crisps, and these did not disappoint they were delicious and I would buy these again.
Chocolate - yummy, unfortunately the three bars of Lindt Lindor's were soon whipped away by the boys - but I have tried these before and they are yummy. The two packs of mini rolls was a nice surprise, I haven't purchased a pack of these in years and what caught my interest was the notes on the packs - try them frozen - which we will be trying soon.Cawston can, rhubarb flavour - I instantly thought hhmm not what I would buy or drink as rhubarb is not a fruit I have tried since I was a child, however this drink was lovely (surprisingly) it was really very refreshing, and I would definitely buy these in the future. Then a little bottle of Go splash - I have seen the Robinson version of these, so I was keen to try this and it went down well with the boys.
Finally the two Dr. Oetker bars of chocolate -Yum Yum Yum... the boys and I will be making some cakes soon, which I hope to get a post up once done.
I love this box and look forward to receiving it each month! I not only like the surprise aspect, but I enjoy seeing and experiencing the new brands that may be included, or brands I may have seen before but never bothered to try. The kids like this just as much as me, they love to see if there is anything that grabs their attention - for example the three bars of Lindt was soon swooped away by the boys.
