My darling little girl, I am truly sorry. I let you down.
When you came to live with us at just 5-months old I promised I would protect you. You had ended up in foster care at just 3 weeks old, and from day one we fought to get you out of care and at home with us. When you finally came to live with us, I made a promise, a promise that I would protect you.
4 years on, and I have let you down, and to see how your little heart is hurting, it breaks my heart too.
Your birth parents came in and out of your life,
We really enjoyed reviewing Stretch Armstrong, he's still going strong and Jacob has stretched him alot! So we were super excited to be sent Stretch Armstrong Vac Man to review.
Vac Man is back, with new stronger formula which is ideal for 21st-century fun, and he can be stretched to 4 times his original size. Vac Man is a 14″ fully stretchable and poseable Vac powered action figure. He's quite heavy and robust.
I was looking for a new dog bed when U.K pet-bed specialists Scruffs® www.petslovescruffs.com contacted me and offered to send Poppy and Kiwi the new Insect Shield Soft Walled Dog Bed.
The first thing I noticed was the bed is made with Insect Shield® technology to provide effective, invisible and odourless protection, against little beasties like, Mosquitoes, Fleas, Ticks and Flies. The technology is used by more than 50 brands worldwide across various industries. So this was a positive first impression, I want the best for my girls, and this bed helps in the battle to keep those nasty beasties away.
As much as I love my candles, I'll only burn them when the kids are not home, which is not very often. This is why I love Reed Diffusers. They are not only effortless in their quest to spread a beautiful aroma, they are also are elegant, and they enhance the room. I have quite a few in my home.
Reed diffusers will give you a scent that’s longer-lasting than a candle and, with no flames to worry about, especially if you have children and pets in the home, they are more practical. They also look much better.
We've been reviewing inflated minions - and it's as fun as it sounds.
Jacob and Summer love Minions, and we took Summer along for her first visit to a cinema to watch Despicable Me 3 last week, which she loved. So as you can imagine, they were super excited to be sent some fantastic Radio Control Inflatable Characters to review. Jacob received Tom the Minion, and Summer received Fluffy.
The past 12-months we've had a lot of work done on the house; an extension, garage renovations and redecoration. Our garden unfortunately has been neglected, it's been and looked like a 'builders yard'. So the past couple of months we've slowly been tidying up the garden and putting some life back into it. That included painting the decking, doing a ton of skip runs, and much more. And, our fence was in desperate need of a refresh, so when Ronseal invited me to their Get On With It challenge, it was perfect timing.
With all the technology my kids have, they still love playing board games. There is something charming about playing board games, a family pastime that brings friends and family together, for fun and laughter.
Bugs in the Kitchen by Ravensburger is a unique, fast paced, fun board game. Included in the box is 24 pegs, the game board, 4 bug traps, 24 kitchen utensils – knives, forks and spoons, 18 cockroach tokens, dice, 2 trap doors and a HEXBUG Nano bug.
We've never had a doorbell before, never needed one, until now. We had an extension built on the back of our house, which is now our living room. And, as our living room was now moved further to the back of the house, we found we now needed a door bell as we now don't always hear when someone knocks on the door - yes, we do have 2 beagles, but sometimes (especially in the evening) they are simply too lazy to bark and alert us to the door. So we needed a doorbell. Which I was quite excited about and even more excited to be getting the Ring Video Doorbell.
Summer is a very lucky girl. She received the BABY Born interactive Bathtub to review and she totally loves it. Summer loves playing with her dolls, her pram, her changing unit, and was super excited to receive the bathtub as part of her growing collection.
The kids love watching YouTube videos, especially webisodes that have catchy songs and cute animation. Golden Bear have recently launched an interactive series called Bush Baby World, which brings the Busy Baby toys to life. And it's as cute as it sounds.
Jacob loves his Stretch Armstrong, he takes it everywhere with him, even to school. Stretch Armstrong looks just like a wrestler, and Jacob is into wrestling at the moment. He has loads of super Stretchy fun.
The kids love seeing just how far they can stretch him, and they can stretch him pretty far! They tie him in knots and bend him in all sorts of positions. They have tons of fun and laughter trying to, I don't know what, but probably trying to see how far they can stretch him without breaking him - but he is pretty unbreakable! After all this crazy pulling about, Stretch Armstrong returns to his original shape - it's pretty good.
Frame My Name offer personalised gifts and cards featuring your child's name meaning and origin. Perfect for babies and young children, although they do have a section for grown ups too. The gifts they offer include name prints, illustrated canvas, invitations and cards, and much more.
We were sent this gorgeous Super Heroes Name Print which Jacob has hung proudly in his bedroom (initially I wanted it for the playroom, but as soon as he see it he wanted it in his bedroom).
I've been reviewing the Lee Starfford Curl Your Heart Out Cone Curling Wand.
This wand has been great at curling my very thick and coarse hair. I definitely get some nice ringlet curls from it and it's easy to use.
In time for your summer DIY projects I've teamed up with Truedor, the composite doors specialists to give one lucky reader a chance to win a fabulously inspirational book, by George Clarke - the 2nd in the series, More Amazing Spaces.
When we go on holiday, hubby and I don't get alot of time to oursevles, so any little luxuries for us is when the kids are in bed asleep, this is when we will have some 'us' time and enjoy a glass of wine together, sitting out in the balcony chatting to each other. Or, on an early evening when we just got back to the villa, the kids are relaxing (knackered), I'll sneak a bath in, and lock the door. Also, if we go fully inclusive, you can let the kids eat and drink as much as they want without having to cook - this is a luxury in it's self.
Warner Bros. brings you the ultimate DC Heroes animated collection for some DC fun this half term. I've teamed up with Warner Bros. to give one lucky ready this fab bundle of DVDs.
To enter for your chance to win, you must Follow and RT this Tweet. Good luck.

Fidget Spinners are all the rage at the moment and my kids have been asking none stop for one; all their mates have one. What are they? they are a simple toy designed to ease / relax children who are anxious or have too much energy - but, all the kids want one now.

I'm a bookworm. I love to read, I love my Kindle, but you just can't beat the feel and weight of a paper book. When I go away, reading is essential for me, I always take my kindle, but I do take a book too.
But what do you prefer? You're going on holiday - do you take an eBook to read, or is a paper book better? What type of book should you take? This will vary depending on the type of holiday you’re going on… a beach break, family getaway or couples escape.
When I moved out of my parents home and I moved into my first house with my boyfriend (who is now my hubby), one of the first things I bought was a cat. Ceefur. That was 20-years ago. 6-months later, I got my 2nd cat, Jewel. She is also 20 this year. Considering the expected age for a cat is 15, I count myself lucky that I've continued to share these extra years with my girls. They're not as playful, Jewel is deaf, but they still love to curl up with me and sleep. Jewel still insists on licking my arms. And Ceefur loves to clean my hair.

Is cooking one of your passions? Have you always loved to experiment in the kitchen? If the answer is yes, perhaps you should think about doing more to make the most of your passion for cooking? Not everyone is lucky enough to have something that they love to do so much, which is why if you can cook well and love to cook, you should consider making more of your passion.
Bearing that in mind, the question is, how can you do that? Of course, the straightforward answer would be to become a chef or patisserie chef, but as a mama who is parenting little ones currently, this may not be an option for you right now, which is why finding an alternative way to make more of your passion for cooking is so important.
The school system these days has a lot of downfalls. While it does give kids the necessary qualifications that they’ll need to get into higher education and eventually, the job market. That’s a vital part of their upbringing, but it isn’t the whole picture. With so much focus on exams and statistics, the schooling system sometimes neglects other parts of a child’s development that are important in later life. When they go out into the world and start looking for jobs, they are going to be going up against hundreds of other applicants with exactly the same qualifications. They aren’t going to get the job because of their grades alone, it will be their personality and experiences that will help them set themselves apart from the crowd. That’s why it is vital that you teach them the life skills, and give them the experiences that they need to make them a well-rounded person before you send them out on their own. If you’re worried about the downfalls in their schooling, make sure that you do these things.

Halloween, second to Christmas, is one night of the year my kids (and us adults) love to celebrate. The kids have already been counting down the days and we still have three months to go. Why do we love Halloween so much?! It’s the one night of the year where it is perfectly acceptable and expected of people to dress up in the most scary and elaborate costumes, with some great face painting to match. It’s fun, scary fun, creative, and of course it always involves a lot of sweets.
The kids love trick or treating, but they love that we decorate the house too. But,
From increasing the risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease to the fact that ingredients found in tobacco smoke can cause damage inside your body, we know there are various issues linked to smoking.
Many of these problems can take a while to develop to the point where they become a concern — some may never be seen at all, in fact. However, smoking also has detrimental effects on your appearance — issues that will be clear for you and others to see.
Coloring books are all the rage now, and I don't mean for kids, yes, adults are loving this simple but therapeutic pastime.
As a child I spent most of my spare time colouring-in and drawing, it is something I would do with my best friend and we would sit and colour for hours on end. My love for colouring meant I choose Art for a GCSE and wanted to be an artist - although, I found I was better at colouring-in than actually painting, but still I enjoyed the experience, apart from English it was my favourite lesson at school. There is something special about colouring-in, it is peaceful, and therapeutic.
Moving is a big thing, especially if you are putting your home up for sale. The market can be a daunting experience. It's a time where it shifts from being your home, to being a house that is being presented to potential buyers.
