"I Love you a googol" It started approx. 15 years ago when hubby was reading a mathematics book and he asked me 'do you know what the biggest number in the world is' I replied "no", 'googolplexian' he said.
That evening we were cuddling and he looked me in the eyes and said "I love you" and I said it back and he said "I love you googol" (we shortened it overtime)
It touched me and we would say it to each other all the time.. still do.. and when I look back in all our Birthday/Valentines/Mother's day cards, hubby always finishes the card of with writing
I love you googol.
When the boys were born and as they grow up I say it to them and tell them several times a day that I love them googol, and they say it back to us (except my oldest is a teenage)
Just now Jacob told me ' love you mum, love you googol' and I said it right back.
What is googol?
The second largest number - second to googolplexin. The term was started/invented in 1938 by a 9 year-old boy, Milton Sirotta, who was the nephew of American mathematician Edward Kasner. Edward Kasner popularized the concept in his 1940 book Mathematics and the Imagination. The number googol is 1 followed by 100 zeroes. 10
